Born and raised in Louisville, I’ve experienced some of the best and worst restaurants that Louisville has had to offer. I’ve also had the pleasure of living in and visiting some of the best food cities in the world – Rome, Florence, New York City, Los Angeles, San Antonio, New Orleans, Chicago, Boston and many others.
Louisville’s emerging food scene is special and continues to trend upward. I’d like to give my take on all of it from fine dining to dive bars to food trucks. Some of the best food in this city can be found in the most unexpected places and I hope to uncover these gems and recommend others to go enjoy all the wonderful flavors our city has to offer.
I’m 22 year old college student at Sullivan University taking up an associate degree in Dynamic Web Development. I’ve maintained a GPA of 3.7 or higher this far. I’m currently attending, & will graduate in the fall of 2019. I work full time as a Telemarketer at CBS Interactive. During my free time I write poetry, go to the gym, watch a lot of Netflix, and spend time with my friends and family. You know what else I do in my free time, EAT; so I’m here to share my fantastic and not so fantastic experiences at the different places I eat. I hope I can shed some light and enlighten you to go out and try some of these places I eat here in the Ville. Lets make the Ville Bites count!
My name is Dana. I was born in Louisville, KY and have lived here most of my life. I currently go to school for a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. I love Art, video games, and if you haven’t noticed by the blog: Food. Art and video games are my passion and hobby but eating new foods is slowly becoming one too. I’ve never taken food for granted, but I definitely never thought about taken it seriously as a critique. I used to spend a lot of money on material items but that’s slowly transitioning to food. This blog is the perfect excuse for me to get out and explore new places to eat and I’ll be happy to tell you all about the experiences.
I am a 40+ year old retired solider. I served 23 years in the army; It has allowed me to travel and eat in many cities, states and countries. After my last deployment I decided to stay in Kentucky. I like trying new foods. Good, Bad or indifferent I’ll make the sacrifice to eat and inform my readers. Stay Tune.
